Chocolate Snacks

Mmmmmm...Chocolate! Chocolate is made from the seeds or “nibs” of the cocoa plant. The cocoa nibs are removed from their outer shell and allowed to ferment for about a week. After that the nibs are roasted then ground down into “chocolate liquor.” Chocolate liquor is the starting point of most chocolate products. The most common forms of chocolate are of course white, milk, and dark. Chocolate is given this classification because of the different amounts of ingredients in each form. Dark chocolate has a high amount of cocoa mass making it bitter and rich in antioxidants. Milk chocolate is blended with milk for a milder less bitter taste. White chocolate isn’t technically chocolate at all! It’s actually cocoa butter! Happy Shopping! If you love our Chocolate Snacks, then you may also like our Pocky Sticks & Pretz. HEAT SENSITIVE! The variety of chocolate products that we carry were developed to melt in a persons mouth, around 98 degrees. If it should melt before you get the chance to enjoy it, just place the product in average room temperature and they will cool but stick together. Melting does not affect the edibility of the product.
