Jasmine rice is a long grain rice which is primarily grown in Thailand. It is known for its pleasant nutty aroma and flavor. Jasmine rice is commonly served in Chinese and Thai dishes. Although the Jasmine rice grains will stick together when cooked, they are less sticky than other rice varieties.
