Lotte Products
Lotte is a compilation of 60 different companies, employing over 60,000 people. The companies have a wide range of products and operate in everything from electronics, to publishing, to construction, to entertainment, and of course, candy. The production of sweets is a large arm of the Lotte Group, and actually the very product it was founded upon.
Lotte was started in 1948 by a Japan raised, Korean businessman. He started by selling chewing gum to children in post-war Japan. As relations between Korea and Japan grew, he expanded to Korea in 1967, and production and sales only increased from there.
With popular products like Toppo, Green Gum, Crunky Chocolate Bar, and Black Black Gum, Lotte has grown to become the largest producer of candy in Japan and Korea- and after a recent merger, they have become the largest candy distributor in Poland as well.
Products
Toppo is one of Lotte’s most successful products, and has taken Pocky lovers by storm. Unlike Pocky, with biscuit stick on the inside, and the flavor on the outside, Toppo has the flavor on the inside of its hollow biscuit stick. This changes the flavor a lot more than you’d expect. But it’s a treat you won’t get until you try. So taste all the different flavors we offer, such as Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake, Crème brûlée, and Cocoa Sticks.
