I have heard of Durian and was interested it trying it, and Durian Hi-Chew is as close as I was willing to get! At first it tasted fruity, maybe a little bit like orange then it started to taste like... rotten fruit.. Then like I was eating garbage. But if you like Durian, I think you will appreciate these ;D

If you like durian, go for it. If not, be very glad that this is a limited edition flavor. The usual HiChew texture, but the durian flavor was, well, DURIAN. I and my friends had a nice range of reactions. Personally, I find durian to taste like boiled onions in a light fruity flavor with a very light hint of offal smell. Mostly my tastebuds freaked out on the notion of fruit+onion. It doesn't smell in the package, but 5 half-eaten candy pieces stank up the apartment. I suggest eating these outside, as one apparently does with real durian.
