Product Recipe
CHOW MEIN SEASONING MIX
-
1 package Kikkoman Chow Mein Seasoning Mix
-
1/2 pound boneless pork, chicken or beef,* sliced into thin strips

2 tbsp. vegetable oil
-
1 carrot, julienned
-
1 onion, sliced
-
2 oz. fresh snow peas
-
1/4 pound fresh bean sprouts
-
2 cups (4 oz.) crisp chow mein noodles
Directions:

Dissolve mix in 1/2 cup water; set aside

Stir-fry meat in hot oil in wok or large skillet 2 minutes.

Add carrot, onion and snow peas; stir-fry 1 minute.

Add bean sprouts, stir-fry 1 minute.

Add seasoning mixture.

Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens and is thoroughly mixed.

Pour meat and vegetables over chow mein noodles; toss to combine before serving.

Makes 2-3 servings
*If using beef, stir-fry 1 minute; remove from wok and return with seasoning mixture
