1 milliliter of water weighs 1 gram. Therefore, a "10g" measuring spoon IS a 10ml measuring spoon. I'm afraid it's not the spoon vendors who are retarded.

This is retarded- measuring spoons measure volume not weight. The spoon sizes should be in mL and not g.
