| When I first started cooking asian style food I wandered through an international market in the nearest large town and bought small bottles of several different types of mirin, wanting to see which I liked best. This brand won easily. It has a nice flavor without being to strong or sourish and blends well with just about anything I add it to. (I expiriment with making all kinds of strange glazes and sauces) It does not take a lot to get the flavor of it to show up in what you are cooking either. |
