| I bought this product in anticipation of making Japanese mochi. I had a wonderful recipe and followed it very closely. Unfortunately, when I took a bite into my mochi it was BITTER. I couldn't figure out why it would taste so bad, but after doing some research learned that sweet rice flour is supposed to be slightly "sweet". After all, why else would they call it that? Therefore, I decided it must just be this particular brand of sweet rice flour. What a shame, and I bought two boxes too. Money down the drain! |
