This stuff is no joke. Truly hot with a wonderful fermented bean and garlic flavor. I've looked and looked for this stuff foe ages and tried a few different types of 'hot bean pastes' none of which were even close to hot and most of them sweet, in fact. Not this stuff. This is the real deal XO sauce. The price is ridiculous. I should have ordered 4 jars but only got one because I'm so used to finding hot bean sauces that were nice tasting but weak in the heat AND bean flavor department. I just can't say enough about this stuff. It deserves six stars.
