The Pu’er Tea is a variety of fermented tea produced in Yunnan province, China. The unique blend of green and black variety of loose leaves have a unique reddish hue that lends to a beautiful mahogany color when steeped fully in water. This tea has a deep, smooth and earthy flavor profile with intricate overtones ranging from plums to chocolate. The Pu’er tea undergoes a process of fermentation and then is stored for many years to create an aged or vintage deep flavor. Drinking this tea can help with digestion and provide immediate rejuvenation. Each box contains a bag of aged Pu’er loose leaves. Simply pour tea in tea strainer, steep for 1-2 minutes, and the tea can be served by itself without any additives. This also makes for a great gift for the holidays!
