Make an instant meal in minutes with this Hot & Spicy flavored Udon noodle soup. Udon noodles become thick and dense when cooked which makes them very filling.
1. Add noodles to 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Cook 2~3 minutes.
2. Add soup base just before turning off heat
3. Serve immediately

Add a few vegetables or some leftover chicken, shrimp, steak bits...whatever you may have and you have a very tasty meal. (hint: a fresh egg cracked into a steaming bowl just before serving makes the broth incredibly rich and thick!)With the addition of just a little bit of veggies or meat, or even just that egg, this can easily be a meal. I've often split a packet with someone and made a meal of it with a half sandwich and few pickles on the side. It is very filling!
Be warned though, when they say HOT and SPICY they mean HOT AND SPICY! I tend to grab this one when I have a terrible head and chest cold because the spice helps open up your breathing and you can taste it when everything else is just bland! Wonderful for cold weather days when you really need something to fire you up.
