Tonkatsu sauce is like a thick Japanese Worcestershire sauce. It's normally served with breaded and deep fried meat cutlets called katsu. It's very tasty! This sauce was featured in a recipe in the New York Times Magazine. Click here to read their article.

This is a really tasty sauce and I've enjoyed it on pretty much everything I've put it on except seafood, and that just might be my personal taste there, I know others who like it on fish. Fairly inexpensive, it goes quite a long way, well worth buying a bottle to give it a try.
