Karaage (kah-RAH-geh) is a type of fried chicken in Japan, made with a light crispy batter. Each piece of tender chicken is usually coated in a special karaage batter that allows for a crunchy outer texture with minimal grease. This pack of karaage batter has already proportioned the flour, spices, salt and baking powder for you. Just add water onto the mixture, pour the batter onto a hot wok, and dip your chicken pieces in to fry!
