Make dinner time into a fun filled family activity with this Japanese style hot pot recipe. To eat it right, slowly dip each piece of thin sliced sirloin and crisp vegetables into the boiling hot sukiyaki sauce like fondue. Once cooked, you can eat them right away.

  • 1. Cut beef sirloin into thin slices, cut celery diagonally into 1/2" slices
  • 2. Slice onions, bamboo shoots, noodles
  • 3. Cut firm tofu into 1" cubes
  • 4. Place all pieces onto a large platter
  • 5. Warm oil in skillet at 300 degrees, add 1/3 of meat and 2/3 vegetable & tofu, keeping the remaining ingredients separate
  • 6. Add 1/3 more beef; cook 1 to 2 minutes longer
  • 7. Add spinach and cook for another 2 minutes
  • 8. Add remaining ingredients to skillet as needed. Serve immediately
