Difficulty:Easy
Prep Time: Minutes
Cook Time: Minutes
Serves:1 servings

Nutritional Information

Dipping your sashimi in soy sauce and ponzu just not cutting it anymore? How about a spicy citrus dipping sauce instead! Red hot chilies, spring onions, and fresh lemon juice create an amazingly delicious alternative to the norm.

Ingredients

  • 5 tsp Rice Wine (sake )
  • 2 each Spring Onions
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/8 tsp Hichimi Togarashi
  • 4 oz Daikon
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 pinch MSG

Directions

  • 1. Warm the sake in a small saucepan. Ignite with a match, turn off the heat, and shake the pan gently until the flame dies out. Pour the sake into a dish and cool.
  • 2. Put the sake with the grated daikon, onions, soy sauce, lemon juice, MSG, and the 7 pepper spice into a mixing bowl. Mix well. To serve, place in small individual dishes and serve with sea bass, sea bream, or sashimi.
