Try this shrimp recipe. It calls for several pieces of shrimp that are fried, then soaked in a marinade of sake, soy sauce, sugar, and fish stock to produce a sweet, tart, and savory meal.

Ingredients

  • 11 oz Shrimp
  • 8 tbsp ake
  • Oil
  • 6 tbsp Fish Stock
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Soy Sauce

Directions

  • 1. Wash and devein shrimp.
  • 2. Soak shrimp in 2 tbsp salt for 10 minutes
  • 3. Dry thoroughly with cloth then fry in hot oil (330F)
  • 4. Put 6 tbsp salt, sugar, soy sauce in a saucepan with the fish stock, bring to a boil.
  • 5. Add shrimp, cook til sauce caramelizes
