Grilled Sesame Seed Steak Strips With Vegetables

A great kabob recipes that will fit into almost any menu. For a great sauce, heat the remaining marinade to a boil and simmer until reduced.


  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Green Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 3 lbs Beef Sirloin (cut into thin strips)
  • 2 large Green Peppers (cut into squares, blanched)
  • 20 large Mushroom Caps
  • 16 each Cherry Tomatoes


  • 1. For marinade, place soy sauce, sesame seeds, wine, chopped onions, garlic and ginger in blender jar; blend well. Place meat in a large glass or enamel bowl and pour marinade over.
  • 2. Marinate several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally. Just before cooking, remove meat from marinade and drain, reserving marinade.
  • 3. Thread meat on skewers, alternating with green pepper pieces, cherry tomatoes and mushroom caps. Brush with cooking oil.
  • 4. Grill to desired doneness, basting with marinade several times during cooking.
