Kielbasa with Shirataki Noodles

Kielbasa is a common form of Eastern European sausage, that is thick, hearty, and often smoked or spiced. So try this fusion dish of a classic European meat with distinct Asian ingredients like Shirataki noodles.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz Shirataki Noodles
  • 3/4 lb Smoked Kielbasa (cut up)
  • 1 med Onion (sliced)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 1/2 cup Green Beans
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper

Directions

  • 1. Drain, and then rinse Shirataki Noodles under warm water. Pat dry. Meanwhile, in skillet over medium heat, cook kielbasa and onion until browned, stirring often. Spoon off fat.
  • 2. Add soup, stir until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Add beans and pepper. Heat to boiling
  • 3. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir Shirataki Noodles into skillet. Stir Shirataki Noodles into skillet. Heat for 2 minutes (stirring often). Serve with spicy brown mustard if desired.
