Natto with Soba Noodles

Simple and easy to make, this classically delicious noodle dish is a typical Japanese dish, often eaten as a lunch or breakfast meal. Natto is made of fermented soybeans, and is highly nutritional.

  • 1. Prepare The Natto: Add soy sauce, stir the natto with chopsticks for about 30-60 seconds. Do not mash, stir fast and well.
  • 2. Prepare dried wakame by soaking it in cold water, as directed on the package. Then drain.
  • 3. Prepare the sauce in a small bowl by mixing the seaweed stock, soy sauce, sugar and minced garlic. Add salt to taste.
  • 4. Prepare the soba noodles as directed on the package. After the noodles is cooked, rinse well with cold water.
  • 5. Serve the noodles, place wakame then natto on top of the noodle. Pour sauce over. Optional: wasabi.
