Shirataki Noodles & Tropical Island Chicken

Nutritional Information

A uniquely tasting sweet and sour dish with a variety of ingredients such as green peppers, carrots, onions, and even pineapple. This chicken dish prepared with Shirataki noodles is a healthy and great tasting dish.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Shirataki Noodles
  • (fettuccine or noodle shaped)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 8 oz Chicken Breast
  • (boneless, cut into bit sized pieces)
  • 1/2 cup Onions (cut into bit sized)
  • 1/2 cup Green Peppers (cut into bit sized)
  • 1/2 cup Carrots (cut into bit sized)
  • 1/2 cup Canned Pineapple Chunks (drained)
  • 1/3 cup Prepared Sweet & Sour Sauce

Directions

  • 1. Prepare Shirataki noodles according to package directions. Cut the noodles into 3-4 inch lengths.
  • 2. In a non-stick skillet, toss noodles over medium high heat until dry . Set aside. Heat oil in skillet. Add chicken, stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • 3. Add vegetables, stir-fry for 3 - 4 minutes. Stir in noodles then stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Add pineapple and sauce, simmer for 3 minutes. Then serve.
  • 5. Variation: 1(14oz) package Tofu Firm, cut in cubes instead of chicken.
