Shirataki Recipe Toss Beef and Asparagus

This eclectic stir-fry meal calls for lean beef, cut up and stir fried with various spices and herbs such as wasabi, ginger, and garlic to accentuate the flavor of the meal. They are cooked with healthy Shirataki noodles and diced asparagus for a delicious, well balanced meal that's easy to prepare and perfect for any family meal.

  • 1. Cut the sandwich steaks into thin strips. Boil the shirataki noodles for 2 minutes, in beef broth or water. (Beef broth gives the noodles a beef flavor) When the noodles are almost done, add the asparagus and cook 3-4 minutes longer or until asparagus is tender. Drain well.
  • 2. Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet, sauté the scallions and garlic in the olive oil and add the sandwich steaks. Cook for about 10-15 minutes or until the beef strips are tender. Add the ginger.
  • 3. Mix the wasabi powder and the soy sauce together. Pour into the beef mixture and mix well. Drain the shirataki noodles and add to the beef mixture. Season with Salt and pepper.
