This recipe involves simmering, sizzling shrimp, prepared on a skillet with bell peppers, garlic, ginger, and roasted peanuts. It is served with somen and a chicken broth that is flavored with soy sauce, sesame oil, and hot sauce.

  • 1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • 2. Combine chicken broth, soy sayce, peanut butter, sesame oil and hot sauce in a medium saucepan, mix until it's well blended then set the pan on medium heat. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 3. In a large skillet heat the peanut oil on medium heat, and then add ginger and garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Add bell pepper and saute for 2 minutes, then add shrimp and saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of peanut sauce, let it simmer for 2 minutes until shrimp is cooked. Drain noodles then add to shrimp mixture then mix throughly.
  • 4. Serve it on 4 individual plates.
