Thinly sliced top round beef flame grilled with sweet teriyaki sauce, caramelized pineapples, and toasted sesame seeds.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs Beef Top Round or Beef Ribeye roast (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Seed
- 1 each Thinly Sliced Scallion
- 1 each Pineapple (peeled, cored, and sliced 1/2 inch thick) additional toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions garnish
Directions
- 1. Combine the beef with the teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and thinly sliced scallion. Let this marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour or for several hours in your refrigerator.
- 2. Remove the beef from the marinade and toss the pineapple slices in the marinade.
- 3. Grill the pineapple slices on a stovetop grill or on an outdoor grill over very high heat just enough to give them some caramelized grill marks. Set these aside, sprinkle with toasted sesame seed if desired.
- 4. Get the grill very hot and quickly sear the beef on both sides. Do not overcook the beef
- 5. Sprinkle the beef with toasted sesame seeds and thinly sliced scallions.
- 6. Serve immediately with some rice.
